@SANKOFAB I just lost a 20+ year old trans friend. She played guitar beautifully, but never seemed comfortable in her own skin. She fancied herself a marxist, partied a little to hearty on booze...had depressive incidents, then they DRUGGED HER, and she lost interest in the world around her; stopped playing guitar on the street here, and 6 month later killed herself. Paul Krassner recounted on newsroom-l listserv what Abbie's first wife Anita told him Abbie wasnt in good health. Had 80% arterial blockage and was depressed. He was precribed prozac. Little did they know that prozac in conjuction with bad circulation CAUSES SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. These chemicals BANDAIDS MIGHT WORK RIGHT on 1% of the users. Ritalin too.
